How do I measure my ring size?
Wrap a strip of paper or piece of string around the base of your ring finger. Make sure that you can slip it comfortably over your knuckle. Mark the point at which the paper meets itself. Use a ruler to measure the length of the paper from its tip to the mark you made. This is your finger’s measurement.. Using the chart below, match the measurement to your ring size.

Do you repair jewelry that was not purchased from your company?
Yes! We do offer repair services on all jewelry and watches, regardless of where they were purchased.
Do you have a trade-in policy?
Yes, we will do trade-ins on diamond merchandise only. If the diamond was purchased from Service Jewelry and Repair and you have your receipt/paperwork, you may trade-in for an item that is two times the price that you paid for your jewelry. For example, if you purchased a diamond ring for $500, you would trade it in for an item that is $1000, but you would only pay $500. If you did not purchase the item from Service Jewely and Repair and you still have your receipt/paperwork, you can trade-in for an item that is three times the amount that you paid for your jewelry. *All trade-ins must be done at our retail locations located in Brentwood & Hendersonville Tennessee.

Will my package be delivered if no one is there to receive it?
No, all packages will be shipped FedEx and must be signed for upon delivery.
What if I send in more than one piece of jewelry? Do I need to put them in separate bags?
Each item should have it's own information sheet filled out so as to insure the accuracy of the repair.
How do I know my stones will not be switched out?
Our jewelers do not have any stones or jewelry parts at their benches other than what is pulled for that specific job. One job is worked on at a time to avoid switching jewelry. You can always feel assured that your jewelry is in good hands. Our reputation means more to us than any diamond or gemstone.
How long will it take for my package to reach SJR?
Fed-ex delivery will take 2 days in transit. Once we receive the job we will contact you within 48 hours. If your package is received on Friday we will contact you on Monday.
How do I insure my jewelry when shipping to SJR?
Put the correct value of your jewelry on the label. You can find this information on your receipt or appraisal form. If you are unsure of the amount just call SJR and we can help! 1-877-757-5991
How long will my repaired jewelry be covered under warranty?
Any jewelry repaired by SJR will have a 30 day warranty. Watches repaired by SJR will have a 60 day warranty.
If I email SJR over the weekend will I have to wait until Monday for a response?
Although our business hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, someone will usually be in the office on the weekend to respond to emails received.
Can I e-mail a picture of my repair for an estimate instead of sending it in?
We would have to have the piece of jewelry in house for a thorough review in order to give you an accurate estimate.
What is the time frame for a custom piece?
Once we give you the estimate on your custom piece the completed process will usually take 7-10 business days. We can expedite the job for a rush fee of $40. which will take usually 4-5 days.
If I purchased an engravable item from SJR and had it engraved by you,could I return it if I didn't like it?
We will accept returns on any items with engraving on inside only. Ex.wedding bands,rings,etc. We cannot accept any returns on items with the engraving done on the outside. Ex.--ID bracelets, medical bracelets,etc. |
